Do I need to buy all three?

No. Each add-on is independent. Your existing Veil license keeps its current privacy cover, presence features, OCR and other included tools.

Does any file or clipboard content leave my Mac?

These three tools run locally. Veil sends account and license information to verify access, but does not upload your vault contents, redacted documents or clipboard data.

What happens to my old activation key?

A verified add-on purchase generates a replacement key with the same base license and all its paid add-ons. The previous key can no longer activate a Mac. Your currently activated Mac stays connected and gets the new features when it refreshes its signed license.

Can I use add-ons for a team?

Yes. The buyer selects an assigned seat they manage. The upgraded key goes to that seat’s account. Company-managed keys and individually assigned seats are supported. Add-ons stay with the seat when the team owner reassigns it.

What if I refund an add-on?

That add-on’s access is removed while your base license and other paid add-ons remain. An offline Mac may retain access for up to 24 hours. Encrypted disk images can still be opened with Finder and your vault password.
