A straightforward license for a little more privacy.
The product
Veil is a macOS privacy utility developed and supported by Conyro LTD. It requires macOS 14 or later and supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Camera access is required for presence features. Other features may request separate macOS permissions.
One payment. One active Mac.
Veil Personal costs US$19 once, plus any applicable taxes shown before payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Your license belongs to your Veil account and may activate one Mac at a time. You may move it to another Mac by releasing the old device from your account. License keys must not be shared or resold.
Team and business licenses
Veil Teams costs US$7 per seat once, with a minimum of five seats (US$35) per purchase, plus applicable taxes. Each seat activates one Mac at a time. The buyer manages the seats and may add further packs of five to 100 seats. The same current features and beta/1.x updates are included.
The buyer may assign seats through single-use invitations to teammates with their own Veil accounts, generate separate keys under a company account, or use both methods. Company-account credentials grant access to its seat management and purchases. Invitations may be shared privately with intended teammates; activation keys may be used only for their assigned account and must not be resold. The buyer can reclaim and reassign a seat, which invalidates its old key and device authorization. Offline access may remain for up to 24 hours.
What is included
The purchase includes the current beta and Veil 1.x updates. Future major versions may be offered as optional paid upgrades; buying Veil Personal does not commit you to any future payment. Existing beta licenses remain valid under their current access. Optional AI features require your own provider API key and may have separate usage charges.
Delivery and activation
Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. After payment is verified, return to your Veil account to generate your activation key and download the app. Keys are shown once; you can replace a lost key from your account after confirming your password.
Sign in to the Mac app using the same account, then enter your key. An internet connection is needed for initial activation and periodic license renewal. The app receives a signed license valid for up to 24 hours between renewals, so this is not an entirely offline product.
Privacy protection has limits
Veil’s screen cover is an app overlay, not the macOS Lock Screen. Camera detection can miss someone outside the camera’s view and depends on lighting, positioning, and hardware. Experimental face recognition is not Apple Face ID. Use macOS Lock Screen when you need to secure an unattended Mac.
Refunds and access
Our refund policy explains how to request a refund. A full refund ends all licenses associated with that purchase. A payment dispute may temporarily suspend access while it is resolved. An offline Mac may retain its current signed license for up to 24 hours.

Nothing on this page limits consumer rights that apply under mandatory law. Dodo’s checkout and buyer terms also apply to the payment transaction. Our privacy page explains how account and purchase information is handled.
